To comply with visa condition 8202, you must:
✅ Stay enrolled in a registered course at the same or higher AQF level (exception: Doctoral ➡️ Master’s).
✅ Maintain satisfactory attendance and course progress each study period.
✅ Notify your education provider within 7 days when changing providers and ensure all visa conditions are met.
✅ You can only change courses after completing 6 months of your principal course (the main course you initially enrolled in), unless you have written release from your provider.
⚠️ Switching to a lower-level or non-AQF course? You’ll need to apply for a new student visa and wait for approval before starting.
